About me
MARKO ORLOVIĆ
After completing his undergraduate studies in Psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, Marko earned his Master’s degree at the same institution, focusing on developmental psychology. Following his studies, he participated in several multidisciplinary research projects at the University of Novi Sad and completed professional internships at the Institute of Mental Health, NSRNM, and Medigroup. These experiences allowed him to gain diverse knowledge and hands-on experience across almost all practical domains of psychology. After completing his studies, he continued to work closely with some of the most prominent mentors and experts in Serbia and the region.
From 2016 to 2019, Marko dedicated himself to international education. Through travel, international projects, and expert engagements, he gained extensive global experience in education, primarily within private schools and kindergartens that focus on teaching marginalized groups and foreign languages. His work with children with developmental challenges and language learning in Germany, the People’s Republic of China, and Peru helped him develop a strong sensitivity to cultural diversity and a creative, integrative approach to teaching—one that meets the complex challenges faced by modern educators and parents. He is also a certified instructor and facilitator of several advanced learning systems and creative thinking methodologies.
In 2019, Marko returned to Serbia, realizing that his own culture best aligned with his temperament and the way he wanted to live and create. Since then, he has worked in several schools as a pedagogical assistant, gaining invaluable experience working with marginalized groups, students with learning difficulties, and children with behavioral challenges. In parallel, he also worked as a personal companion for several children with developmental disabilities, achieving remarkable results through individualized approaches.
The year 2020 brought new challenges that inspired Marko to focus more on counseling and therapeutic work with adults. Since then, he has earned several international certifications, most notably from the International Hypnosis Association (IHA), where, since 2025, he has also served as an official course provider and instructor. He holds a Good Enough Parenting International Facilitator Certificate, as well as a certification in Logic-Based Therapy and Counseling (LBT/C). In addition, he has completed specialized training in Schema Therapy, to which he actively contributes through research and education. His courses in this integrative approach to psychotherapy are among the highest-rated and best-selling on the Udemy platform. In his practice, Marko also applies Gestalt Therapy and Therapeutic Writing, which he studied under the renowned Serbian dramaturgy professor Darko Tadić. He collaborates both with professionals from conventional medicine (psychiatrists, pedagogues, trainers) and with pastoral counselors and clients’ spiritual mentors, believing that a human being is a holistic entity and that genuine healing requires a comprehensive approach. For this reason, his sessions often include artistic, philosophical, and spiritual dimensions.
Since 2023, Marko has been employed as a school psychologist in several elementary and high schools in Belgrade. He coordinates Inclusive Education Teams and Career Orientation Teams, and he initiated IOP3 programs in one of the schools where he is currently employed. In the field of enriched programs and gifted education, he collaborates with top professors from several countries through international projects and personal initiatives, introducing innovations in gifted education — the Theory of Knowledge program being just one example.
In the field of neuropsychological diagnostics, he received training at the Institute of Mental Health and Antamedica Clinic, obtaining certificates in Neuropsychological Diagnostics – Application of Tests and Techniques and Neuropsychological Diagnostics – Supervisory Course.
Marko Orlović regularly participates in international projects related to education, bringing innovation to this field. He is the author of several scientific papers, handbooks, and online courses on counseling and education in English.
